*A New Chapter in Ethiopia

The past weeks and months have marked a truly unique chapter in the history of Ethiopian politics—unless, of course, one chooses to view everything through a lens of deep pessimism. From where I stand, remarkable shifts have taken place—some of them quite drastic—as the country transitions into a new era of leadership.

Beyond the public relations campaigns, which I believe have played an important role in shaping public perception and confidence, I’ve found myself genuinely inspired. For the first time in years, I can say I’m proud—proud of our Prime Minister's speeches, many of which are filled with substance, clarity, and even quotable wisdom. His words have stirred something long dormant in me: a renewed sense of national pride.

After years of silence, disillusionment, and shame, I feel proud once again to call myself Ethiopian.

I won’t attempt to catalog all the achievements of the new Prime Minister thus far. Instead, I choose to stay focused on hope—hope that he, together with the rest of the leadership team, will continue to steer the country toward lasting and meaningful progress. Optimism, after all, is the foundation of courage.

May God bless Ethiopia and Ethiopians in the years to come! A new chapter is unfolding—and it feels like we’re finally turning the page.
